SPD India Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is the first company in India to provide sterilisation services for surgical instruments outside hospitals. Founded in 2017 by Hitesh Mehta (now CEO), the company overcame the challenges of COVID-19 and now provides sterilisation services to over 150 hospitals in and around Delhi. Sterilisation work is carried out at the company's own sterilisation centre (Okhla area, south Delhi). Surgical instruments collected in the evening are sterilised during the night and delivered to hospitals early the following day. In addition, some hospitals outsource the operation of their CSSD to us, and we carry out sterilisation work there.
Sterilisation outsourcing is just getting started in India. Our service is a breakthrough for Indian hospitals, which are still concerned about nosocomial infections caused by inadequate sterilisation. As a pioneer in the industry, we will continue to expand the provision of high-quality sterilisation services.
